While national pastors do not always face the linguistic, cultural, racial, and economic barriers that frustrate foreign missionaries, national pastors contend with credibility and acceptance by their own people. Often national pastors have a vision for ministry but lack the means and resources to affect their ministry goals. Through its medical clinics GDMMissions invests experience, training, and resources into the national pastor’s ministry while also providing accountability.

The ministry of Grace Dental Mission is a blessing for what we are trying to do in opening new places to preach. In Mexico, for example, people do not trust someone when they first arrive to visit a new town. Normally it takes time for the people to have confidence in someone, but with the dental clinic ministry we make a great step, because people approach to have their teeth fixed and after the dental mission goes away we can explain more about you, where you minister, and when you will be returning. Through this we make friendships and it is much easier to introduce them to the Gospel. Those on the mission team trips are also a blessing to us as we see the work you are doing.
