Mary Chase

The Board of Directors of GDMMissions is pleased to announce that Mary Chase has been appointed as its first Associate Missionary.  Mary is a full-time dental hygienist in a dental office and she and her husband Tim live in Orford, N.H. and attend  Wentworth Baptist Church.  Mary has been keenly interested in foreign missions since she was a child but marriage, raising a family, and a full-time career seemed to put into the background any chance of being a missionary.  By God’s providence she sat next to Dr. Jack Mitchell at a Bible conference, saw the toothbrush design on his tie, and found out that he was a “dental missionary.”  She never knew there was such a missionary!  Her enthusiasm grew more after she was part of a dental evangelism team to Mexico in 2009.    She shared Christ with most every patient she saw during five days of dental ministry, stating excitedly, “This is the coolest thing in the world!”  She will be returning to Mexico in February 2010 and is planning to be part of another dental evangelism team later in the year.  GDMMissions welcomes Mary and looks forward to her energetic service with us in sharing the Gospel across the globe through dental and medical evangelism.
